Narad Kutowaroo

UNITE UK Ambassador

With over 20 years of hairdressing experience, Narad embarked on his professional journey at the young age of 15 while still in school. At 21, a pivotal moment occurred when when he visited Covent Garden in London and met Gary Baker, now UNITE's Creative Director. At the time, Narad was dissatisfied with his hairstyling skills. Gary, however, stood out as a true master of his craft, always ready with answers to his questions and became a mentor for Narad. Their shared enthusiasm for hairdressing and passion for teaching created a strong bond, and marked the beginning of Narad's foray into fashion weeks and editorial shoots. A decade ago, he transitioned from salon life to become a session stylist, initially working with bands and eventually expanding his clientele to include actresses, models, and musicians. For the past two years, Narad has proudly served as the UNITE UK Ambassador, leading shows for the company across major cities and representing the brand in all of his professional endeavors. Some career highlights include working with high-profile clients such as Sophie Turner, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Madison Beer, as well as contributing to press for acclaimed series like The Crown, Bridgerton, and Downton Abbey.
